Call for DMFA Board Nominations

We are now accepting nominations for the Board of Directors for the 2012/ 2013 season. Board terms of service are two years. Being a DMFA Board of Director helps you keep your pulse on the Fundraising Industry and provides a great opportunity to work with and get to know a dedicated group of talented professionals.

The Status of the Postal Bill in the Senate

On Tuesday, the Senate voted on the motion to proceed on bill S. 1789. This bill sponsored by Senators Lieberman, Carper, and Collins, up until now has been very “mailer friendly” and had a lot of activity. Unfortunately, this bill failed to get 60 votes, meaning that debate would not go forward. Also meaning the negotiations begin that will change the bill and add amendments. In compromise hides increased postage.
