Sanky Perlowin was a legendary fundraiser and a proud founder of the Direct Marketing Fundraising Association. Created to honor her memory and excellent work, the Sanky Perlowin Memorial Scholarship is a wonderful opportunity for a promising newcomer to learn about and enhance his/her skills in direct marketing fundraising. The scholarship has many benefits, including tuition reimbursement for a university-level course in direct marketing fundraising.

Our current Sanky Perlowin Memorial Scholarship recipient is honored with a plaque and additional tribute on the DMFA website. Past winners are also listed and given a place of distinction on the DMFA website.

Sanky Perlowin Memorial Scholarship Guidelines

• Nominees must be involved or interested in fundraising by direct mail and related techniques.
• Nominees should be relatively new to the profession and show promise of making future contributions to it.

Scholarship Includes:

• Free membership in the DMFA for one year.
• Admission to all DMFA monthly luncheons and workshops at no charge.
• A free direct mail reference book.
• Tuition reimbursement (up to $500) for a university-level course in direct marketing fundraising.

Official announcement of the scholarship recipient will be made at the annual Package of the Year luncheon meeting in June.
