Sanky Perlowin

Mrs. Sanky Perlowin was head of Sanky Perlowin Associates, a direct mail fundraising consulting firm, from 1977 until her death in 1984. For 18 years, she worked with Harold Oram, Inc. and was a member of the Greater New York Chapter of the National Society of Fundraising Executives. She was also a founder and president of the Direct Mail Fundraisers Association.

A frequent speaker at seminars and conferences, she began her fundraising career in Paris where she was business manager of a literary magazine. She worked for a number of international organizations both in Paris and New York.

Her direct mail clients included a wide range of museums, performing arts centers, international relief organizations, environmental agencies, youth groups, and health and welfare organizations.
